Waste on public land, such as roads and pavements, is usually handled by the local council. LoadBadger enquiries are for private land.
WASTE COLLECTION IN LUTON & BEDFORDSHIRE
Dumped waste on private land, cleared after we understand the location, safe access and anything that looks hazardous.

Do not approach, open or move suspected hazardous items such as drums, sharps, chemicals or broken asbestos sheeting. Describe them from a distance and keep people and pets away.

Tell us exactly where the material is, for example behind a rear gate or beside a bin store, and whether a van can get within about 30 metres. Clearance on public land is usually a council matter.

Give a rough amount and what the material appears to include: bags, furniture, building waste or mixed items. A description from a safe distance is enough to start the review.
The request is subject to assessment and partner approval. Submitting does not confirm acceptance or a date. You can send an enquiry and attach optional photos without signing in. Photos are private and visible only to LoadBadger staff handling your enquiry; a text-only request is also welcome.
Send photographs from a safe position and confirm your authority to arrange clearance. Tell us about unknown containers, sharps or suspected hazardous material without touching them. Acceptance depends on assessment; fly-tipped waste cannot automatically be treated as a normal household load.
No. LoadBadger’s standard clearance service excludes hazardous waste. Tell us if you suspect asbestos, chemicals, fuels, sharps or other dangerous material is present. Keep it separate and seek an appropriate specialist rather than putting it into ordinary clearance bags.
Ask for the collecting business’s legal name and waste-carrier registration details, then verify them through the relevant regulator’s public register. For household collections in England, GOV.UK directs customers to check upper-tier registration. Confirm who is actually collecting rather than relying only on a trading name.
The operator needs to reassess the actual material and quantity. Contact LoadBadger to agree any revised scope and price before extra work proceeds. Accurate pictures, measurements and disclosure of hidden heavy material help avoid changes when the vehicle arrives.
Ask us to confirm the destination arrangements for your agreed waste before collection. The operator needs an authorised route suited to the material. A household recycling centre is not automatically an appropriate destination for a commercial collection, and different materials may require different facilities.
