Send an inventory of desks, chairs, storage and equipment, both addresses and your proposed schedule. Include building access restrictions and lift arrangements. We can assess the relocation request with a suitable partner; IT disconnection and reinstallation are separate matters unless expressly agreed.

Business and property services
Coordinate office jobs, rental properties, trade collections and accommodation support.
Send a separate list of items for disposal rather than relocation. Identify confidential material, electrical equipment and anything with special handling needs. A usable desk going to another office and an unwanted desk being discarded require different instructions and potentially different documentation.
Tell us the time window you need and any security or building-management conditions. We will check operator availability before confirming. An out-of-hours request does not guarantee access, and someone authorised may still need to open the premises and approve the collection.
Yes, send the property address, agreed item list, access contact and completion deadline. Make sure you have authority to instruct removal of the items. LoadBadger should not be asked to decide ownership or resolve a disagreement about belongings left at a property.
Contact us once you have established your authority to have the specific items removed. Identify exactly what is included and keep written instructions. A clearance booking does not settle ownership questions or replace the steps you may need to take before disposing of another person’s property.
Send photographs of cardboard, wrapping and any other materials, plus the property’s access instructions and next guest arrival time. We can assess a one-off packaging clearance. Keep hazardous, electrical or food-related waste identified separately rather than placing everything under a general packaging description.
Provide a property-by-property list with photographs, postcodes and access windows. Each location needs a defined scope even when one person manages them all. We will check whether visits can be coordinated and explain the pricing for each agreed collection or transport job.
Tell us the likely waste types, quantities, locations and collection frequency. Repeat work needs an agreed scope and review when the load changes. A first collection does not automatically reserve ongoing capacity or establish a fixed price for every later visit.
Request photographs when enquiring and specify what you need recorded. We will confirm what the operator can provide. Avoid including people, access codes or private paperwork in images, and do not assume an inspection report or certification is included with ordinary completion photographs.
Send photographs from a safe position and confirm your authority to arrange clearance. Tell us about unknown containers, sharps or suspected hazardous material without touching them. Acceptance depends on assessment; fly-tipped waste cannot automatically be treated as a normal household load.
Documentation, care and support
Find help with waste records, booking information and service concerns.
Ask for the collecting business’s legal name and waste-carrier registration details, then verify them through the relevant regulator’s public register. For household collections in England, GOV.UK directs customers to check upper-tier registration. Confirm who is actually collecting rather than relying only on a trading name.
For non-hazardous business waste transferred off premises, a waste transfer note or equivalent document containing the required information is needed. Confirm the paperwork arrangements before collection. Keep the record with your job and invoice details; a receipt without the necessary information is not automatically sufficient.
Ask LoadBadger to confirm the collection record available for your job, including the operator and agreed items. Keep your quotation, communications and receipt. Household and business documentation duties are not identical, so ask about the record rather than assuming every customer needs the same form.
Ask us to confirm the destination arrangements for your agreed waste before collection. The operator needs an authorised route suited to the material. A household recycling centre is not automatically an appropriate destination for a commercial collection, and different materials may require different facilities.
No blanket recycling promise should be assumed. The outcome depends on the material, its condition and the authorised treatment route. We do not quote a recycling percentage in this FAQ; ask what information can be provided for the waste in your particular job.
Ask for the cover applicable to the assigned operator and your goods before booking. Check limits, exclusions, excesses, packing conditions and the claims procedure. Do not assume that public liability insurance covers every loss or that another company’s advertised cover applies to LoadBadger.
Contact LoadBadger promptly with the booking reference, a clear description and photographs where relevant. Retain packaging and supporting records while the issue is assessed. Ask for the next steps under the applicable booking terms rather than assuming an automatic payout or a fixed claims deadline.
Use the contact details in your booking confirmation and explain what happened, when it happened and the outcome you are seeking. Include relevant messages or photographs and your booking reference. Keep a copy of your complaint and ask how progress will be communicated.
Contact LoadBadger through an established website or booking channel and explain the correction or request. We may need to verify your identity before changing or releasing information. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or identity documents unless a secure, necessary process has been explained.
Use the contact options on the website or your booking confirmation if you need assistance with an enquiry. Do not assume a customer dashboard is required or already available. Include your booking reference where you have one so the team can find the correct job.
Furniture delivery and collections
Arrange a sofa, bulky item or online marketplace collection with clear instructions.
Yes, send photographs, dimensions and both postcodes so the item can be assessed. Mention stairs and whether the furniture is assembled. A single item can still need a larger vehicle or more than one handler, particularly where access is restricted.
You can request transport for a suitable purchased item. Confirm the item details with the seller and send collection and delivery information. The purchase agreement is between you and the seller; a transport booking does not verify the listing or guarantee the item’s condition.
Check its measurements, collection access and the seller’s availability before committing to a tight deadline. Request a transport quote early so you understand the cost. Coordinate the purchase and collection only once both the seller and LoadBadger have confirmed the arrangements.
Provide the collection address, agreed contact person, available times and any access instructions. Ask whether the item is dismantled and ready to move. Share personal contact details only with permission, and let the seller know a fulfilment partner will attend.
Do not rely on the driver to authenticate, test or value a marketplace purchase. Agree the item’s condition directly with the seller and keep photographs or listing details. If you need a particular collection check, ask in advance whether it can be included.
Arrange the purchase payment directly with the seller through a method you are comfortable using. Do not assume the driver can carry cash, negotiate or pay on your behalf. Keep payment for the goods separate from payment for the collection service.
Contact LoadBadger immediately and try to reach the seller. An unsuccessful collection may affect the schedule and may attract charges under the agreed terms. Check the seller’s availability before booking and make sure the operator has usable access instructions.
List every collection point, item and delivery address in your enquiry. Each stop adds handling and travel requirements, so it needs to be priced and scheduled. Adding another address later may require a new quotation or a different appointment.
Provide the appliance type, dimensions and condition for assessment. Explain whether it is being moved for reuse or removed as waste, because those are different jobs. Disconnection, draining, specialist handling and reconnection must be considered separately and should never be assumed included.
Ask for the transport arrangement to be confirmed in the quotation. Do not assume exclusive use of a vehicle or a particular route unless agreed. If the timing or nature of your goods requires dedicated transport, explain that before booking.
Garden, DIY and construction waste
Explain heavy materials, renovation waste and site access before collection.
You can enquire about garden waste collection by sending photographs and an approximate quantity. Keep garden material separate from furniture, rubble and household rubbish where practical. Mention very long branches, wet bags and the distance from the garden to the loading point.
List soil, stones, bricks and concrete separately. A small-looking pile can be much heavier than bags of leaves, so it changes the vehicle and load assessment. Do not assume a volume-based estimate for light green waste also covers dense material.
Waste collection and gardening work are different tasks. Our enquiry should describe material that needs taking away; do not assume cutting, felling, stump removal or landscaping is included. If preparation is needed, explain it before requesting the collection date.
Send photographs showing the condition, size and whether the structure is dismantled. Tell us about exposed fixings or unusual coatings. Dismantling and material acceptance need separate assessment; the collection quote should not be taken as permission to disturb a potentially unsafe structure.
Send a list of cabinets, sanitaryware, tiles, timber and other materials, with photographs of the entire load. State whether anything remains connected or fixed in place. A waste collection does not automatically include plumbing, electrical work or demolition.
Give the number of bags, their approximate dimensions and the material inside. Tell us whether they are partly filled or mixed. A photograph of closed bags alone may not show the load accurately, and bags should remain safe to handle without splitting.
Identify plasterboard separately and ask for collection instructions. Keep it apart from the rest of the load pending confirmation of acceptance. The operator needs to check a suitable destination and pricing; it should not be hidden among general rubble or bagged mixed waste.
Send the site contact, access rules, working hours and loading arrangements with the waste details. We need to establish whether the operator can safely attend and meet the site’s requirements. Do not book a standard household visit without explaining that it is an active site.
No cleaning service is included unless specifically quoted. Removing agreed waste does not mean washing floors, removing dust from surfaces or preparing a property for occupation. If you need cleaning as well, request it separately and agree the sequence of visits.
Explain whether waste is ready now or will accumulate over several days, and whether it is mainly bulky or dense. We can assess the collection enquiry against partner capacity. Skip hire is not a confirmed LoadBadger offering in this pack; request availability before relying on it.
Getting started and local coverage
Find out how LoadBadger enquiries work across Luton and Bedfordshire.
LoadBadger handles enquiries for removals, man-and-van transport, furniture deliveries and non-hazardous waste clearance. Tell us what needs moving or removing, where it is and your preferred date. We check the job details with a suitable fulfilment partner before confirming a quotation.
Our main service area is Luton and Bedfordshire. Send your postcode so we can check the location, access and partner availability for your job. For transport, include the destination postcode as well; a local collection does not automatically mean every destination is available.
Yes, you can enquire about work in Dunstable and Houghton Regis. Share the address, photographs and preferred date so we can assess the job. Your appointment is confirmed separately after the scope and the operator’s availability have been checked.
Yes. Include the full postcode and describe any narrow lanes, long driveways or restricted entrances. Rural access can affect the vehicle and loading arrangements. We will check whether a partner can fulfil your request before offering a confirmed booking.
Send us your postcode, the items involved and the date you need. We welcome enquiries from across Bedfordshire, including these towns. Availability depends on the type of work and the partner required, so please wait for confirmation before making other arrangements around a collection.
Ask us to check the route. Provide both postcodes, your inventory and any access restrictions at either end. Longer journeys need separate planning and pricing; we do not treat an enquiry as a promise of nationwide availability.
LoadBadger’s current model uses independent fulfilment partners with their own vehicles. We coordinate the enquiry and quotation rather than asking you to compare public driver bids. Vehicle branding can vary, so use your booking details to identify the expected operator.
The contracting business and the role of any fulfilment partner should be stated in your quotation and booking terms. Check those details before accepting. If anything is unclear, ask LoadBadger to explain who is providing the service and who handles payment and support.
No. A removal transports belongings you want to keep to another address. Waste clearance takes away unwanted material for an appropriate waste route. Tell us which items fall into each group so usable belongings are not mistaken for rubbish and the right job is quoted.
You can request both in one enquiry. Send separate lists and photographs for items to keep and items to remove. We will check whether the work can be coordinated and explain any separate vehicles, visits or charges before you agree.
Home removals and man-and-van
Plan a home move, smaller load or property move-out with the right support.
Describe the load rather than worry about choosing the perfect label. A few boxes and a small item of furniture may suit a smaller transport job. A larger home move needs assessment of the complete inventory, handling requirements and access so the team and vehicle can be planned.
Send a list of boxes, luggage and furniture, together with both postcodes. Mention shared entrances, timed loading bays and any lift booking requirements. A small property can still involve difficult access, so those details matter as much as the number of rooms.
The number of movers should be confirmed against the items and access. Do not assume every van comes with a two-person team. Tell us about items that need more than one person to handle and whether you require all lifting to be provided.
Ask for the handling support you need when requesting the quote. The booking should say what loading and unloading is included. You should not plan to lift heavy furniture yourself unless that arrangement has been discussed and is appropriate for the job.
Tell us the floor, stair layout and intended room before booking. Share measurements or photographs of tight turns and landings. Room placement is subject to the agreed handling service and safe access; it should not be assumed from a simple transport quotation.
Mention packing at the enquiry stage, including fragile items and the number of rooms involved. We will check whether a suitable partner can provide it and how materials are charged. Unless it is expressly included, prepare your belongings for transport before the team arrives.
Request this in advance and send photographs, dimensions and the item’s make or model where known. We need to check suitability, tools and time with the operator. Dismantling or assembly should appear in the confirmed scope rather than be assumed on moving day.
Yes, tell us what you are taking, what is staying and the collection deadline. A move-out may involve only your personal belongings or a larger furniture load. If unwanted items also need clearance, list those separately so their disposal is assessed correctly.
You can enquire about transport to storage you have arranged. Give us the facility address, access times, loading rules and unit location. Storage rental, security and access are matters to confirm directly with the facility; they are not automatically part of a LoadBadger transport quote.
These are not part of the core LoadBadger services described here. Contact us before making plans for an unusual transport request. Do not treat information about another company’s international, vehicle or specialist services as confirmation that LoadBadger provides the same service.
Preparing for moving day
Practical answers about packing, access and communication on the day.
Use sound boxes, secure the bases and protect contents from movement. Put dense items in smaller boxes and keep each carton manageable. Label the destination room and identify fragile contents. Keep a written inventory of anything valuable or needing special handling.
Tell us about them before accepting a quotation and agree packaging and handling requirements. Photograph their condition and keep any supporting purchase information. Do not assume an ordinary furniture transport job is suitable for antiques, artwork or unusually valuable goods without specific assessment.
Keep keys, identification, medication, essential documents, money and items you need immediately separate from the load. Pack an overnight bag and chargers so you are not searching through boxes after arrival. Tell the team clearly which bags or items must not be loaded.
Explain the closest suitable loading position at each address and flag restrictions, permits, height barriers or controlled entrances. Agree any required arrangements before the visit. A booking does not give the operator permission to park illegally or block another property’s access.
Include the floor number, stair width, awkward turns and distance from the entrance when requesting a quote. If a lift is available, check that it can be used for the relevant items. Tell us promptly if the lift fails or access changes before the visit.
Measure the item and the route, including narrow corners and landings, before booking. Send those details for assessment. Do not expect a team to force furniture through or remove doors without agreement; another handling plan or a change to the job may be needed.
Let LoadBadger know as soon as you become aware of a delay. The operator may have other commitments, and waiting time or rescheduling depends on your booking terms. Discuss possible completion-day delays in advance rather than assuming unlimited waiting is included.
Agree who will provide access, identify the items and receive the delivery at each address. If you cannot attend, nominate a suitable representative and give us their contact details with permission. An unattended collection or delivery needs explicit agreement beforehand.
Ask LoadBadger for an update using your booking reference. Live GPS tracking is not promised as part of the current quotation-led service. Keep your phone available on the day so agreed changes or arrival information can reach you.
Please arrange separate transport for people and animals. Do not plan your journey around travelling with the goods. Your own transport also lets you reach the destination in time to provide access and settle pets away from the moving activity.
Prices, payments and changes
Understand the quoted total, payment instructions and changes to your booking.
For the agreed waste collection, the operator’s quotation includes disposal and LoadBadger’s customer quotation should reflect that agreed scope. Check the listed materials and quantity. Additional or different waste may need reassessment; it is not automatically included because the vehicle has spare space.
The customer quotation should state the total you are being asked to pay for the agreed job. LoadBadger’s fee forms part of that customer price. Do not use an operator’s separate estimate as your confirmed booking price; check the written quotation issued for your enquiry.
Read the pricing basis in your quotation. A job may be assessed against a defined inventory and scope rather than an open-ended hourly arrangement. If time-based work is proposed, ask for the hourly rate, minimum charge and treatment of travel and waiting before accepting.
Your quotation should make the VAT position clear and show the total payable. Do not add or deduct VAT yourself based on assumptions about LoadBadger or a partner. Ask for clarification if a quotation or invoice does not clearly explain the amount due.
Any deposit requirement and balance due date must be supplied with the booking terms. Do not assume there is a standard deposit for every service. Check the payment schedule before accepting the quotation, especially for a short-notice job or a large move.
Use only the payment method and payee confirmed in your LoadBadger booking instructions. If you receive different bank details or a separate request from someone claiming to be the driver, verify it through the contact channel you already know before sending money.
Request the invoice details when enquiring: business name, billing address, purchase order if needed and the accounts contact. We will confirm the invoicing arrangements for the booking. A purchase order or invoice request does not automatically establish a credit account or deferred payment terms.
Contact LoadBadger as soon as your plans change. We will check the new date with the fulfilment partner and explain any price or terms changes. Keep the existing appointment in mind until the revised arrangement is confirmed; sending a request does not automatically reschedule it.
Check the terms supplied for your particular booking before accepting. Contact us promptly if you need to cancel and ask for the applicable charge or refund position in writing. Do not assume another removal company’s cancellation window applies to LoadBadger.
Ask what has changed from the agreed scope and contact LoadBadger before authorising additional work. Extra items, undisclosed access problems or a different waste type may require a revised quotation. Any agreed change should be documented so the reason and amount are clear.
Quotes and booking
Get a clearer quote by sharing the right photographs, inventory and access details.
Start with the website enquiry form or the contact options shown on our website. Include your postcode, preferred date and a brief description. We may follow up on WhatsApp for photographs and extra details before checking the price with a fulfilment partner.
Send a wide view of everything involved, then close-ups of large, unusual or damaged items. Include doorways, stairs and the route to the vehicle if access is tight. For waste, show the whole pile and tell us about anything hidden underneath rather than moving unsafe material for a photograph.
A short, steady walkthrough can help explain a larger move or clearance. Show each room or pile slowly and mention what should stay. We may still ask for close-up photographs or measurements where the video does not show enough detail to price the work.
Photographs do not always reveal quantities, weight or items stored out of view. A written list lets us compare the requested work with the quotation. Include loft, garage and garden items where relevant, and flag anything particularly heavy or difficult to handle.
Our current process uses a reviewed quotation. We check the information with a fulfilment partner before presenting the customer price. Any early estimate is an indication only until the items, access, date and included work have been confirmed.
The price depends on the job: the load, distance, labour, access, vehicle and any agreed extras. Waste jobs also depend on the material and disposal route. Clear photographs and an accurate inventory help us assess the actual work rather than guess from the property size.
Reply using the acceptance method supplied with your quotation. Check the listed items, addresses, date, price and terms first. An enquiry or a WhatsApp conversation is not by itself a confirmed appointment; wait for the booking confirmation and any payment instructions.
You can request an initial assessment while your date is uncertain. Explain which dates are possible and when you expect to know more. Availability and pricing will need checking once the date is settled, so an estimate does not reserve a moving slot.
Tell us your deadline and whether there is any flexibility. We will check partner availability for short-notice or weekend work. Please do not assume a same-day collection, a particular arrival time or a weekend slot is available until it has been confirmed.
Send the revised inventory, photographs or access information before the visit. A change may affect the vehicle, team, price or date. Ask for written confirmation of the revised scope so you and the operator are working from the same instructions.
Waste clearance and accepted materials
Check what needs removing and how to prepare a clear waste enquiry.
Send details of your household, garden, office or building-related non-hazardous waste. Acceptance depends on the material, quantity and available disposal route. We assess the actual load rather than promise to take every item described as general rubbish.
No. LoadBadger’s standard clearance service excludes hazardous waste. Tell us if you suspect asbestos, chemicals, fuels, sharps or other dangerous material is present. Keep it separate and seek an appropriate specialist rather than putting it into ordinary clearance bags.
Explain where it is and how the team would reach it. Include stairs, lifts, narrow passages and the distance to the vehicle. We will check the required labour and access before quoting; an indoor collection should not be assumed from a kerbside description.
Not necessarily: furniture and other bulky items may be assessed individually. Describe loose material and ask how it should be contained. Use sound containers for suitable small items, avoid overfilling them and never conceal sharp or potentially hazardous contents in an unlabelled bag.
Send photographs and quantities for assessment. Upholstered seating may need a separate handling and treatment route, which can affect acceptance and cost. Do not break it apart or mix loose foam with other waste while waiting for collection advice.
Include the number, approximate sizes and condition of mattresses or rolls of carpet. Mention dampness, contamination or difficult access before a price is agreed. These items need assessment rather than being added automatically to a general bagged-waste quotation.
List them separately and ask for acceptance before booking. Fridges, batteries, screens and other electrical items may require different arrangements, and some may fall outside our service. Do not hide them inside a mixed load or assume they follow the same route as ordinary furniture.
Describe the contents first. A bulky-clearance enquiry is not an automatic booking for food waste, leaking bags or routine bin collections. We need to check suitability and any hygiene concerns before confirming whether the request can be accommodated.
Tell us which items you hope to reuse or donate before they are classified for clearance. Acceptance by a charity or another recipient must be arranged and confirmed. We cannot promise donation, resale value or a free collection simply because an item remains usable.
The operator needs to reassess the actual material and quantity. Contact LoadBadger to agree any revised scope and price before extra work proceeds. Accurate pictures, measurements and disclosure of hidden heavy material help avoid changes when the vehicle arrives.
Tell us what you need moved or cleared.
Send an enquiry for the right service and LoadBadger will review the details.
